Icons:

The Lord’s Entry into Jerusalem   40 x 30cm   NFS

The Holy Trinity    25 x 20cm   NFS

The icon of The Lord’s Entry into Jerusalem celebrates Palm Sunday which marks the beginning of Holy Week.  With Jesus Christ significantly at the centre, the icon conveys a festive look.  His disciples from Mount Olives are on the left, while the Jews and Jerusalem are on the right. The scene depicts the beginning of the final act of Christ’s earthly mission and the first step towards His passion.

The Holy Trinity icon depicts the story of Abraham and Sarah’s hospitality.  It is an ideal expression of God, without God being represented. God is looking at us right here through the icon. The icon invites us to experience that God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are in their loving communion.
