Bernie Fox

Bernie Fox was born in Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland. She attended Altinagh Primary School and St Joseph’s Convent Grammar School. She left school at 15 to do book-keeping and help out on the family farm. She came to Doncaster in 1965 where she still lives with her husband, Eugene. She has an appreciation of all art  forms and has City and Guilds qualifications in floristry, calligraphy and cake decoration.

She was a Bereavement Counsellor for Cruse for a number of years. She studied for a Teaching Certificate in Theology. About four years ago she joined an Icon Writing Group at Trish Jones’s home in Doncaster. The fellowship and support she has received from Trish and the group have helped tremendously in her faith journey.
