My background is in floristry but I am currently self-employed offering cleaning and gardening services.
I have always enjoyed arts and crafts and in 2015 discovered egg tempera and translated the essence of a prayer into a picture. I found it very therapeutic and so when I saw an advert for a beginners’ course for painting icons by Sister Esther at Turvey Abbey in 2017, I signed up and have really loved learning and painting with other iconographers since then.
