I have been painting icons for 16 years now, still fascinated by their strange beauty and distinct style, still in awe of the mysterious light and sense of presence that emanates from them.
And that is exactly what I try to convey, in ‘my’ icons: ineffable solace, a feeling that ‘you’re not alone’.
