Sheila Read

 

Sheila Read was born in London and trained at Hornsey College of Art, becoming a teacher.

Twenty-five years ago she joined the Orthodox Church and studied iconography with Aiden Hart.

Her main work has been to gradually complete the icon screen of her home church of St Aethelheard in Louth as well as undertaking other commissions.
