I am very much a beginner but have painted a few icons over the last few years under the guidance of Basia Mindewicz at the Edinburgh School of Icon Painting.

Both these icons were painted during Zoom classes which started with the first Covid-19 lockdown.

The Christ Pantocrator icon was inspired by a painting from the vaulting of Torpo church in Hallingdal, Norway, one of the  Norwegian Stave churches. The icon of the Three Kings was inspired by a 15-16th century Novgorod School icon of Saints Boris, Vladimir and Gleb.
