Trish Jones is a potter who trained at Notre Dame College of Education in Liverpool. She has continued to work with clay over the years as an outlet for her artistic nature.
Having been brought up in Cockfosters R.C. Parish in North London and having received her early education from the Benedictine Nuns at Vita et Pax school in Cockfosters, she has long-standing contact with the Benedictine Community which relocated from Cockfosters to Turvey Abbey.
This led to her enrolling on an icon-writing course at Turvey led by Sr. Esther. She finds that writing Icons enables her to express her faith.
She has been able to share with others, friends and family a means of helping them in their journey to our Lord. She has been able to work with and help other Icon writers.
